At the beginning of the production of vibrating screen equipment, if the installation and commissioning are not standardized, it is equivalent to buried hidden troubles. In severe cases, it will also affect the quality of finished materials and the output of the entire production line.

Preparation before vibrating screen installation

Before the installation of the vibrating screen, since most of the equipment is metal, it is necessary to do a good job of rust prevention to prevent problems caused by the rust of the vibrating screen parts in use. Check the vibrating screen before installation, replace the rusty parts in the inventory, and replace the aging seals and the damage in the handling work in time. Before installation, you must read the installation instructions carefully and operate according to the instructions to ensure that the installation complies with the process. This is the work that needs to be carefully prepared before installation.

Vibrating screen installation and commissioning

1) Install supporting or hanging device

Before the vibrating screen is installed, the ground should be shoveled and firm to prevent problems due to uneven ground during use. The components should be installed in strict order by the drawings of the support or hoisting. Before installing the spring component, the actual stiffness marked on the end face should be matched.

2) Screen box bracket connection

After installation, it should be adjusted according to the specified inclination. For hanging screens, the inclination of the screen box and the level of the main shaft of the screen box should be adjusted at the same time. Generally, adjust the horizontality first to eliminate the deflection of the screen box. After the level is corrected, adjust the longitudinal inclination of the screen box. The force of the vibration isolation spring should be uniform, and its force can be judged by measuring the compression of the spring. Generally, the compression amount of the two sets of springs at the feeding end must be the same, and the same should be true for the two sets of springs at the discharge end. The amount of spring compression at the discharge end and the feed end can be different.

3) Install electric fixed screen

During installation, the foundation of the motor should be leveled, the level of the motor needs to be corrected, the center lines of the corresponding grooves of the two belt wheels should be coincident, and the tension of the triangle belt should be suitable. Install and fix the screen surface as required. Check whether the sieve’s inlet and outlet chute and the funnel under the sieve collide during operation.

Vibrating screen trial run

1) Trial operation

The empty test run time of the sieve shall not be less than 8h. During this time, observe whether the sieve starts smoothly and quickly, whether the vibration and operation are stable, and there is no special noise. Observe whether the amplitude meets the requirements through the amplitude plate. If yaw occurs during operation, the reason may be that the height difference between the springs on both sides is too large, the tension of the hanging wire rope is uneven, the rotation axis is not level, or the triangle tape is too tight, and should be adjusted accordingly.

2) Bearing temperature

The high temperature should not exceed 75℃, and the temperature rise should not exceed 40℃. After 8 hours of the trial run, if there is no fault, the installation project can be accepted.

3) Noise shutdown

Check whether the shaft rotates flexibly and whether the lubrication is good, etc., and restart after troubleshooting. If there is any looseness during the test run, stop the machine immediately and check the tightening before driving.
