If the vibration frequency of the dewatering screen’s excitation force is inconsistent, the dewatering effect will be reduced. If the excitation force is too small, the dehydration effect is not good, and the production efficiency will be reduced. Excessive vibrating force, although a better dehydration effect can be achieved, will cause greater damage to the dehydration vibrating screen itself. For example, the sieve plate, if the excitation force is too large, the sieve plate will make a large amount of action, causing the sieve plate to break and bring about economic losses.
Due to different materials, different production lines, and different equipment, the frequency of each vibrating dewatering screen is different. Some run slower, some run faster. So, is the vibration frequency of the dewatering screen faster or slower? How to adjust? Today, Longzhong Heavy Industry will share some experiences with you.
1. The screening area affects the vibration frequency
The width of the screen surface is the main factor that determines the vibration frequency of the dewatering screen. To ensure the screening effect of the material, the material on the screen surface needs to have an appropriate thickness. When the thickness of the material is constant, the passing capacity of the material mainly depends on the width of the vibrating screen, so the wider the screen surface, the greater the production capacity. However, the width of the vibrating screen should not be too large. If the width is too large, it is difficult to ensure uniform feeding during use. At the same time, structurally, the stress on the screen frame will also deteriorate, which brings difficulties to design and manufacturing. The width of the vibrating screen is generally: 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.4, 3.0, 3.6, 4.2m. According to calculations, the economic cost per unit area of the sieve is a 2.4-3.0m wide sieve. The area of the dewatering screen designed and produced by Longzhong for users generally does not exceed this range.
2. The inclination of the screen surface affects the vibration frequency
The frequency of vibration of the dewatering screen is often used for the dewatering, desliming, and dewatering of coal. Because the dewatering screen with linear motion is generally installed horizontally, the inclination angle is zero. At this time, the movement of the material mainly depends on the projectile force that is at a certain angle to the horizontal when the screen surface moves. If a linear sieve is used for classification, the sieve should have an angle with an inclination angle of approximately 5-7°.
3. Control of vibration frequency
Generally, the vibration frequency of the sieve is usually between 750 and 1500 times per minute. According to the many years of production experience of the dewatering screen manufacturer of Longzhong Heavy Industry, the frequency is better between 850~1000. The installation engineer will adjust the vibration frequency to the user during the installation process.
4. The feeding method affects the vibration frequency
Using multiple feeds is equivalent to an increase in the screen width of the screen. The thickness of the material layer on the surface is reduced, which is conducive to the rapid contact of fine-grained materials to the screen, and the transportation distance is shortened. This method indirectly increases the vibration frequency of the dewatering screen, thereby improving economic benefits.
When feeding the dewatering screen, it is required to be uniform and continuous. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the maintenance of the dewatering screen, clean and repair the screen surface in time, and replace the damaged screen surface to ensure that the equipment is in good condition. This can prolong the service life of the dewatering screen, save time and money for users, and bring greater economic benefits.
