Generally divided into two categories, namely, the arrangement of pre-screening and inspection screening operations as one and the configuration of pre-screening operations before the crushing.
3. Configuration scheme of the three-stage open circuit process
The three-stage open-circuit process is more suitable when the raw ore contains a certain amount of sludge and moisture. Small and medium-sized factories mostly adopt flat-land centralized configuration schemes. Large and medium-sized factories mostly adopt distributed layout schemes. Some factories also adopt overlapping configuration schemes.

The three-stage closed-circuit process is widely used in the design and is generally divided into two schemes: centralized and decentralized. Most of the small and medium-sized concentrators adopt a centralized configuration scheme. Large-scale and extra-large concentrators mostly adopt decentralized configuration schemes. The scheme of three-stage crushers centrally arranged in the same plant is suitable for medium and small-sized concentrators with flat terrain. The main features are low capital investment and convenient operation and management. The disadvantages are high noise and high dust removal requirements.

When there are many types of ore or equipment, a dual-system configuration can be adopted. The main advantage is that the medium and fine crushing are dual systems, and the production flexibility is great. The screening machine has few restrictive factors on the crusher, and the production management is convenient. Prevent mixing of ore and reduce the time for ore replacement. The disadvantage is that the investment is large and the auxiliary equipment is large. It is mostly used in large-scale concentrators or concentrators that process a variety of different types of ore.
5. Configuration scheme of a four-stage process
To further realize the requirements of more crushing and less grinding and energy-saving, the four-stage crushing process has appeared at home and abroad in recent years. The particle size of the final product is less than 8mm, which improves the grinding efficiency. However, because the four-stage crushing operation has many links, the configuration is more complicated, and the management is inconvenient, it is necessary to carefully consider the newly designed beneficiation plant, and do a good job of technical and economic comparison.
